My work is extremely personal. I’m obsessed with social and cultural power dynamics. The world I see is an ever shifting relationship between influential people and groups, and the impact their actions and inactions have on the rest of us. Almost all of my work portrays the struggle of two opposing forces, with a tendency toward fatalism.

Conceptually, my ideas are the result of a momentary burst of subconscious visual clarity that I’m compelled to interpret and express. While I do have stylistic preferences, I’ll adapt any style or technique that best expresses a concept. Some ideas are suited to simple linework, some as full color cartoonish renderings, and others as more classic realism. I often prefer to mix these styles for various objects and figures within a single piece, which offers in a genuine depiction of how I perceive things.
